    The STH3N150-2 from Microelectronics is an N-channel Power MOS FET, part of the POWER family. It is typically used for applications like switching regulators, motor control, and power management in general.

    1. Drain: The Drain (D) of the STH3N150-2 MOS FET, which is also connected to the tab of the TO-220 package, is where the load is usually connected. In a typical application, the load could be a motor, a heater, a set of LEDs, or any other device that requires switching.

    2. Source: The Source (S) of the STH3N150-2 is generally connected to the ground (0V) in a low-side switching configuration. It serves as the reference point for the Gate voltage, and the Drain-Source current also flows out from this terminal.
