Light of innovation: China's first independently developed A3 laser copier is launched!

On May 17, news came that China's domestic printing brand Pantum Printing held a press conference recently and officially launched China's first A3 fully independent laser copier.


It is reported that this is the first fully independent A3 laser copier in China that Pantum has successfully built after years of hard research and development. Its core key components such as the printer engine, SoC main control chip, and LSU laser scanning unit with independent intellectual property rights are all independently developed.

This release marks that Pantum has completely mastered the core technology of laser printer industrialization and achieved a gorgeous transformation from nothing to something, from something to everything. All this means that China's printing industry has once again reached a new peak and overcome one technical difficulty after another.

It is understood that the technology of the printer industry has been monopolized by giants such as the United States and Japan, using technical barriers and patent barriers to block other competitors.

In order to get rid of this constraint, Pantum has started research and development since 2007.

In 2010, Pantum took the lead in launching China's first A4 laser printer with core technology and independent intellectual property rights at the Great Hall of China. This move achieved a zero breakthrough in domestic printers.


This makes China one of the three countries in the world that master the core technology of printers, and also opens the way for the continuous breakthrough of the industrialization of domestic printers, and promotes the localization process of China's printing industry chain.

According to IDC data, the average annual sales of A3 copiers in China in recent years is about 1 million units.

The new A3 series products launched by Pantum this time occupy the mainstream speed of the market, covering 75% of the market share.
